Programme AlBan and Santander Group cordially invites all those interested in the co-operation between Latin America and the European Union in the domain of Higher Education and related mobility programmes to participate in the "3rd AlBan Conference - Oporto 2009" that will take place next 19-20th June 2009.

Programme AlBan is a high level scholarship Programme adopted by the European Commission in 2002. The Programme aims to contribute to the education and training of Latin America citizens wishing to conduct post-graduate studies (at master or doctorate levels) or specialized training in any of the 27 European Union Member States.

The content of the Conference is especially oriented to students, professors, researchers, education administrators in Higher Education Institutions from Latin America and the European Union.

For these reasons, as President of Santander Group and President of the AlBan Steering Committee, it is a great pleasure to cordially invite you to this “3rd AlBan Conference – Oporto 2009”.
